Chakra Balancing
Chakras are part of the subtle energy structures of our bodies. Some people believe that we have a physical body that creates chakras and meridians and auras around itself. It is actually the other way around: without the aura, the chakras and the meridians and many other energy structures, we would not have a physical body. The subtle energy structures provide a matrix for our bodies, and chakras in particular draw energy in from all around us, energy that can help us function healthily or can cause disruptions and blockages and unhealthy conditions.
Spinning Vortices
Chakras are spinning vortices of energy. They appear like a bowl or spinning circle of energy above the surface of the body. One of the important functions of chakras is to “step down” energy received from our surroundings. Very high frequency energy cannot be used by our bodies, so the various chakras weaken the incoming energy until it is the appropriate frequency. This is similar to the step-down transformers outside our houses, which split or weaken the electricity that flows from power lines into our household wiring. If it came in at the strength at which it flows through the power lines, it would burn out the wiring and any appliances unlucky enough receive that energy. So there is a transformer that cuts the power to 220 volts for ranges and dryers, and to 110 volts for everything else. Chakras perform the same function for human bodies!
Chakras Easily Disrupted
Chakras are most commonly disrupted by negative emotions. Strong episodes of anger, grief, helplessness and so on, can cause a chakra to spin slowly, or in a lop-sided manner, or to spin in the wrong direction. Traumatic emotional events may even cause tears in chakras or in the aura. Some events cause us to “close down” one or more chakra and exhaustion can weaken chakras until they are barely able to function. Minor disruptions of a chakra can feel like tiredness to most people, but serious disruptions can cause reactions up to and including severe physical pain. Physical events such as vehicle accidents, abuse and physical attacks will also seriously impact the chakras: shock will disrupt them, as well.
Chakras Can Be Rebalanced
Where the term “chakra balancing” came from is unknown, for most often a disrupted chakra requires much more than simple "balancing.” However all energetic structures are amenable to healing, and indeed will heal themselves to a large extent if provided with a peaceful environment free of stress. Because they are “structures” of frequency, chakras respond to colour, sound, and many other forms of energy. Marelon intuitively was drawn to the use of tuning forks, as they produce pure frequency, and the chakras respond strongly to the vibration of a clear note. Marelon almost always balances a client’s chakras as part of any healing session, as having the chakras functioning well is a crucial step in the healing process. Many clients feel so much better just from the chakra balancing that even after their presenting problems are resolved, they continue to return on a regular basis just for chakra balancing.
Chakra Healing Modalities
Although the tuning forks are a favorite healing modality for balancing chakras, Marelon also utilizes colour therapy, sound therapy, Polarity Therapy and crystals to bring the chakras back to optimal function.
